World Film Premiere “Here’s To The Crazy Ones”

The only talk I went to today was Lee Clow where he exclusively premiered his Film “Here’s To The Crazy Ones” and followed it with a question and answer session. His film showed his story of the Chiat/Day advertising agency throughout its long history and how it broke barriers and changed the advertising industry. This documentary highlighted the people who contributed to the reshaping of the advertising industry and the impact they left. The film consisted of archived footage along with confessional-style dialogue from Lee and the other featured in the documentary like his old coworkers at the advertising firm. It was super interesting to watch in a documentary form how Lee Clow and the firm revolutionized advertising by thinking outside the box and it was interesting to gain insight about the behind the scenes of what went into some iconic campaigns with brands like Apple, Nike, Adidas, and the Energizer Bunny.
